Meet Our Team
Bonnie Kobrin, RDH
Bonnie has a passion for holistic and alternative aspects of dentistry and has faithfully served her patients in Dr. Rosenbaum’s office since 1998. She graduated from Miami Dade Medical Campus in 1980 as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has worked in private practice ever since. The Queen of Home Care, Bonnie always does her most to help patients stay free from oral disease and is especially sensitive to those with special needs. In her spare time, Bonnie loves traveling and is crazy about her baby dog Tatu.
Adela Mills, CRDH, BASDH, MS Ed
Adela is a passionate and caring Certified Registered Dental Hygienist with over 36 years of clinical experience. Her expertise extends beyond “just hygiene,” too, as she is also experienced as a Dental Insurance Provider Relations Manager, Dental Office Coach, and Dental Educator. Currently, Adela teaches predoctoral students part-time in the Department of Periodontics at Nova Southeastern University and has been a part of Dr. Rosenbaum’s team since November 2015. She is proficient in Spanish and, when not serving her patients, dental clients, or students, loves world travel, craftmaking, collectibles, and spending time with her family. Adela and her husband Steve have two grown children, Marcus, who lives in NYC, and Krystel, who is close to home in Miami.
Sommer Rodgers, CRDH
With her special attention to detail and her sweet disposition, Sommer offers her patients a unique, relaxing, and informative experience. She graduated from Miami Dade Medical Campus in 2009 as a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist and returned to school in 2012 to get certification for Local Anesthesia. She joined Dr. Rosenbaum’s team in May 2016 – an experience that opened a world of learning. She enjoys the opportunity to enhance her skills and learn new things of value to her patients. She and her husband Joe have a beautiful little girl, Kaelyn, and are expecting their second child a girl in April of this year.
Sue graduated from Lindsey Hopkins Medical Campus in 1991 with certification for Dental Assistant and Expanded Functions and has assisted in private practice ever since. She joined our practice in 2000 and especially enjoys assisting Dr. Rosenbaum during oral surgery, implant surgery, and in the most intricate procedures we do. In her time away from the office, she enjoys photography and is truly gifted with capturing special moments with a camera – much like she does through helping make patients’ new smiles. She and her husband Larry have two children in college, Rachel and Kenny.
“Ms. Shay” graduated from Lindsey Hopkins Medical Campus in 1985 with a certification for Dental Assistant and Expanded Functions. In all of years of experience, her biggest enjoyment in dentistry is being part of the journey towards a person achieving a new smile. Even though ours is the first holistic practice she has worked in, she has quickly become quite accomplished in the field. She is the proud mother of an incredible young man named Johnnie.
Our Hygiene Coordinator Elaine has worked in the dental field since 1998 and has been a member of Dr. Rosenbaum’s team since April 2014. She graduated from Miami Dade Community College Medical Campus in 2009 with an Associate in Science Degree in Dental Hygeine. Elaine coordinates and helps our patients maintain their commitments to a healthy oral mouth. She is compassionate, and her organizational skills are truly an asset to our office. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family, especially her precious children. Elaine and Richie have a son, RJ, and a daughter named Thalia.
Nicole joined our team in March 2015 as an assistant to Dr. Rosenbaum, with almost 30 years of learned experience from working in dental offices across 6 states. She now leads as our Patient Coordinator. When asked what she enjoys the most about her work, she says it’s using her knowledge of holistic dentistry to inform patients of what they need, what to expect, and how connected their mouths are to their bodies. Our patients know her most for the smile she greets them with whenever they enter our office. Away from the office, she and her husband Heath enjoy traveling and making new memories, as well as charting on their map all the places they have lived across our country – not to mention playing with their fur baby, Mike.
Cristina has been in dentistry for nearly three decades and with Dr. Rosenbaum since August 2002, where she started out as a dental assistant. Today, she’s our Office Manager. She also helps our new patients in coordinating financial arrangements and complex treatment plans, as well as accommodating busy schedules. She coordinates sedation patients and provides assistance where needed. In her free time, she and her husband Ismael enjoy their large blended family of 6, including two adult children living out of the country, two daughters in college, and two sons at home.
