First, we prepare the tooth by roughing the area to be repaired then etching the surface with a gel. The pigments are matched to your tooth and often applied in several layers to duplicate the depth of color that occurs in a natural tooth. The composite is hardened with a high-intensity curing light.

With careful artistry, this composite can be manipulated to mimic the color details and translucency of your tooth, and polished to a beautiful shine. It is excellent for small defects in the teeth, but for smile alterations involving whole or multiple teeth, porcelain is the material of choice.

Porcelain Veneers
